Thrifty Threads was inspired from an article written by Domonique Davis for the non-profit organization and online magazine, www.theCorereader.com. The article entitled "Thrifty Threads" encouraged others to thrift by displaying thrifted styles; discussing money saved; and offering thrifting pointers. The positive feedback from the article ignited into a vision to create a thrifty fashion blog with a twist. So then came the TT Fashion Blog…

Thrifted. (Items purchased from a Thrift store)
Domonique Davis along with her friend Ta'Sheika Short (TT Team) are born again Christians who have given their lives over to Jesus Christ. They believe in dressing modestly, inspired to document their experiences thrifting, and the "finds" acquired along the way. With the creativity and accountability of fellow believers, Andrew Holden (graphic designer) and Ambreia Turner (photographer/ videographer), this family in Christ is committed to humility, compassion, and the uplifting of HIS kingdom.
They intend to share their passion for Christ, Fashion, and Thrifting through the TT Fashion Blog. Their blog will feature postings (photos, videos, articles etc.) of the TT Team thrifted, thrifting adventures, features from different thrift stores (locally and in other states), and spotlights of other "Christians. Modestly. Thrifted." This blog is a creative outlet to encourage both believers and non believers to save money by thrifting, dress with respect, and still be FASHIONABLY FRESH!
Thrifty Threads presents "Living in Christ" Lifestyle blog post featuring the new addition to TeamTT Demorise Barnes also known as Demo. The purpose for these blog posts are to glorify God by sharing how His mercy and grace sustains, teaches, and shapes her as she makes an earnest effort to live in Christ. Colossians 2:6 "So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him."
